Howdy everyone!So here it is. The post that I know all of you expect and wait with anticipation for!! Just kidding!
Here recently we've had a lot going on. Matthew and I have been busy with making changes to the house and are always busy chasing after Skylar these days. We finally got our furniture and we LOVE it!! We discovered really quickly why leather is so much better when you have a baby that spills, spits up, etc...and a dog that sheds. We've managed to baby proof the crap out of our house. SO much so that even we are struggling to open a cabinet, get to an outlet, or use the toilet. There is nothing worse then really needing to use the restroom and you're having to fiddle with the adult...uh, I mean, child safety locks! lol.
Skylar and I both have been battling with "seasonal allergies" and it's yuck, yuck, yuck! Matthew is so good to us both and has been doing his best to try and help out! I will be glad when all the mold and pollen pack their bags and move on!!!!
Skylar's 9 month check up was yesterday and it went great. She even got her ears pierced and they are so cute! With her two bracelets and now the earrings, she is a TOTAL diva! Love it! Her stats from the appointment are:
weighing in at... 18lbs 2oz
and measuring at... 28 1/2 inches
Basically....she's tall and right on track with her weight!! Horray!
Now for the taaaaaadaaaaaa's!
-crawling MACHINE (she is everywhere, in everything at every moment of the day)

-claps her hands (either after a song or during pat-a-cake)
-pulling up and cruising around things (like the coffee table, sofa, tub...Roxy)
-gives kisses (you can say...give me a kiss and she'll place her mouth right on your lips)
-has temper tantrums (if I try and put her down and she's not ready for it, she stomps her feet and makes a very mad face)
-understands no-no (she's been able to shake her head no-no for a while but now, she understands it. If she's getting into something and we say "no, no Skylar." she'll stop and look at us with the most Innocent face!
-can almost wave bye-bye (just this morning as we walked Matthew out to his car, I started waving and Skylar picked up her arm and waved with me)
-has 4 teeth! and will bite you!!
-eating meats, chunks of fresh fruit, noodles, cheerios and scrambled egg yolks!!
She amazes us everyday at how smart she is!! With each passing day, I thank God for my little baby girl and always try to cherish each day because it's going by so fast! It brings me to tears to think that she will only be this small for today, let me rock her to sleep only a few times more and carry that sweet baby smell for a short while longer! Sigh...my little angel is growing so big!!
