Ultrasound Update

So we went to the doctor yesterday for her follow up ultrasound and boy, was that a mess! We waited and waited and finally got called back where she pooped on the table, then wanted to eat and proceeded to scream her lungs off for the remaining part of the appointment.

Her pediatrician called us back the same day (which is unheard of) and said that the radiologist is saying that the scan is "inconclusive." The nurse basically said that there doesn't appear to be any problems but he didn't want to say that. They'd rather have a specialist look to make sure that there isn't any problems with her kidneys. So we have yet another appointment...this time downtown at Texas Childrens.

Please continue to pray for my little one. I know that God will protect and watch over her but prayer is always nice!

hey girl. thanks for the comment! ok so was she born with something possibly wrong with her kidneys??? did you have a hard pregnancy or know something was wrong?
i guess i am lost since i dont know the whole situation.

ya i am hoping for a boy and sometimes i feel guilty for wanting a boy but really it's just so if i have a little girl one day she can have a big brother. all my brothers are younger and they are such great guys and to be the little sister to them would have been an awesome thing!

she is in our prayers... post more pics of her!! :)

Baby Skylar will be in my prayers!!!

So we must be alike because I always wanted a 4 Runner also. BUT that wouldn't hold but what a car holds so I would hate to buy one of those and get the same seating as my car. It made me sad....because now I'm thinking we are going to be a minivan family also. BOOO hahah I don't care but it's Stephen that says NOOO. Ha
I keep threatening Stephen that we will sell his truck and he can drive my Honda and I can get a new car. ha ha He won't have any of THAT. Oh well I still have 2 more kids to have before I will have to start looking.

I know exactly what you mean!! Matthew and I were kind of hoping for a boy but once they said "you're having a girl," I lost it! Its funny cause now I can't imagine life without her.
As far as her kidneys go...yes, she developed a problem in utero. Matt and I tried and tried to get pregnant and even used fertility drugs with no success. I gave up finally feeling that there was no hope for us and wouldn't you know, we got pregnant in a snap!
Once we found out, I started having little road blocks here and there but the kidney thing, that scared me. When she was about 16 weeks, one of her kidneys appeared to be dialated (retaining fluid) and they said that most babies outgorow it by birth. Well, it appears that it may still be a little problem but I know God will protect her. Just please keep praying. :-)
