"Adam and Eve had many advantages, but the principal one was, that they escaped teething." -Mark Twain

So alas we have entered the wonderful world of teething. Oh how I love the irritability, mood swings, refusing to eat...and oh yes, the drool! Did I mention the mood swings?! She IS a girl alright...m-o-o-d-y!

I've heard of babies that will teethe for months before actually sprouting a tooth and I prayed and prayed that we are NOT in that boat! While my parents were over a couple of nights ago, my mom and I took a quick peek into her mouth and tada! There's a little bulge on her gums and it's almost as if you can see the tooth through the skin! Kind of strange though because I've always been told that babies either get there top or bottom front teeth first and this one is on the bottom but like one tooth over. Is that okay?

Anyway...so my doctor does not recommend baby orajel or teething tablets. My husband and I finally had enough with seeing her in so much pain so I bought the teething tablets, brought them home and wouldn't you just now that the stupid things have LACTOSE! You have to be kidding me!! So as of now, we are freezing teething rings and giving her infant tylenol when it's really bad! She seems to be doing okay with that.

I just pray that she cuts like 6 at a time so we can just get this over with! My poor little girl...

I'm so sorry that she is unhappy with the teething process. I know we had a couple episodes so we did do the Orejel stuff for when it was miserable. I believe Addyson got her bottom first?? I can't remember I would have to go look. Some babies get their teeth a lot differently. Addyson didn't get her first one until 9-10 months old. You are lucky to be getting it over with now. ha ha
she is adorable I might add!!

Oh my children are lovers of tylenol. Use it! and don't feel bad about it. They are hurting and don't know why so its fine!

Try a wet washcloth too...Ella and PReslyn loved that and it helps the tooth to break through quicker. Don't worry it WILL end, but yes, we all know how grueling it can be.

Hang in there mamma!

I had them done at Libby Lu in the mall. There was no one there and it was nice and quiet. I did Hayden's at Claires, but it is really small and cramped. Not compatible for a twin stroller and two handlers ;)

Good luck. I think it is so cute when they have their little earrings. They look so girly!

That's so funny that someone gave that to you and it's the one I went for. Thank you though, I think I'm just going to keep her with the bumble bee, I think she looks adorable in anything sooooo it's really just me being picky. Everyone will love her. lol
What is your little cutie going to be???

Oh and yes I would love to eliminate the guest room completely but Stephen doesn't want to get rid of the bed just yet. He told me if there is no room left we can take it out so that's what I'm planning to completely fill it up and have no room. LOL I mean it's like it's just sitting there for someone to use maybe once every other month and I really don't like wasting space, we have too much stuff that needs to be organized.
