**Hydronephrosis is distention (dilation) of the kidney with urine, caused by backward pressure on the kidney when the flow of urine is obstructed. **
So yada, yada, yada... the doctor told us that basically her left kidney appears to be dilated and that could be caused from either an obstruction in her ureter or the ureter is entering the bladder in the wrong area causing reflux. So when her kidney tries to pass urine through to the bladder it's coming back up and returning to her kidney.
The radiologist who read the report said that her case is mild to moderate which is good. She may be in slight pain but nothing like those who are moderate to severe. As far as treatment is concerned, we have to wait to see how exactly she's being affected. I will keep everyone updated as we continue on this journey. As you can see from the image below, she is still a healthy and happy baby! We are blessed!! Thank you again for your many prayers and words of encouragement. We love you all!

thank you for the advice on the crib. i read it and told dennis right away... so we will remember that when we get our crib together.

man i am getting so nervous and excited and anxious... lol. i have so many things that need to get done, but it's hard to do them all. my back hurts if i do too much. and to me it's not much at all just simply because of what i used to do... i love making lists so i think i will and just check things off as i do them.
i washed the clothes that we have bought for Elijah and they are so soft and smell so good. i cant believe that in four months i will have my little one to dress him in them... it's sooooooooooo crazy but it seems so right you know?
God is so good.
i am still praying for little Skylar... how are you??? you seem strong but i know you are not thrilled... let me know how things are going ok?

we put our crib together yesterday... and when we were putting the mattress bars up we realized all you really have to do is take the front part of the crib off to move it... or you can just move the bars without taking it apart... but still we didnt put it on the highest level... i took your advice and moved it down one... it should work for now... but i just wanted to tell you that in case you didnt know...

Dennis asked me last night "so do you think in the next few weeks your belly will get bigger?" haahah. i laughed and said um, ya... ha ha. he just loves it... he likes seeing it get bigger. ha that's easy for him! he doesnt have to carry it around day after day! LOL
ya i think we are done registering... i have added a few last minute things thanks to my sis and a few friends... i am pretty sure i am done. i am getting so excited... :)
i will probably wait and post a 24 week picture next week. i havent grown at all this week. i just pray i havent gained a ton! LOL
