So for our Labor Day weekend we decided to join my parents on a trip to Galveston. It was a very much needed trip as Matt and I haven't really had a chance to do anything since the baby's been born. She still went with us of course but my mom, Mimi, took care of her most of the time. Skylar didn't actually go out to the beach or to the pool but it was still her first trip all the same!!! I am still the ever-paranoid momma and was not quite ready for beach or pool time.For the most part our trip was just spent lounging around and getting some rest! My parents are such a blessing and we're all looking forward to next years South Padre vacation which will include a lot of my dad's family!! I'm pretty sure by then I'll be okay with her getting her feet wet....but we shall see.... lol.

I love that picture and the outfit looks very similar to one that Addyson has....did you by chance get it at Toys R Us?? She is growing up so fast and is so adorable!!
Yes...I think we did get it from Babies R Us! It was her first time to ever be in a tank top and shorts and my husband and I just wanted to cry cause she looked like a baby and not a newborn!! I can't believe how fast time is going! Before you know it, mine will be 15 months! Aaaaaaah!

second of all iam going to pray hard for baby Skylar... God can do all things! i hope and pray she gets better very fast... i am sorry that you have to watch her go thru this but you are a great momma so keep up the good work.
