We are finally starting to see some light at the end of this loooooong tunnel of colds/allergies/ear infections. Today was the first day that Bryce started seeming more like himself and even though he'd occasionally tell me that his ear was hurting, he was still such a happy little guy today. I still was not prepared to take either of them to bootcamp because I am so worried about picking up another bug just as they're starting to feel better. So instead, after taking Skylar to school we decided to go for a run here. That is tough. It's been a long time since I ran with my double and let me tell ya, it's not as easy as it looks. I've got my 36 pound toddler and my 17 1/2 pound baby IN her carseat which weighs a ton!! So pushing that thing felt like I was trying to push on the back of a mac truck! But we did it. To celebrate, we stopped off by the park to have some fun in the sun. Bryce was happy to be out of the stroller..
and of course little miss made no complaints and just enjoyed the ride...
This little girl is looking more and more like her sister everyday. I'm serious...I'll have to do a side-by-side because that picture above is totally her sister! Since they both seemed content, I decided I would do a little mini workout here at the park since I haven't been to bootcamp since last Friday. Of course, Bryce hurried off the playground to come over and "help."
My sweet man has obviously been paying attention at class because he would count me down "10, 9, 7, 10, 9...good job, mama!" And it was an all out yell that I'm familiar with from our instructor. It was super cute annnnd motivating annnnnd exhausting. After we were done playing and working out, we ran home which finished up our distance of 3 miles. We played and read some books. He helped out with the laundry and Eva was content in her swing. I was able to get quite a bit of laundry done and the house straightened up so it was a successful day. Much better then previous days. Buuuut I was pooped. So when Matthew called to suggest going out for dinner I was definitely on board! And so were the kids since daddy was taking them to see FIRE! They love hibachi. Well, Bryce actually cried a bit this time but once they did the volcano and the choo-choo train he thought it was cool. It was a nice dinner...
My love with his girls. So sweet. Tomorrow is another teacher appreciation day so I need to get to work on that..then hopefully bedtime! Goodnight moon.
