Good morning, sore legs! It was inevitable that I was going to be sore but wow! This is nuts. Each step has been pretty painful and I've taken quite a few Advil along with 2 Epsom salt baths to relieve achy muscles. Since I'm feeling so out of it, we decided to lay low and just enjoy this beautiful day!! And it WAS BEAUUUUUTIFUL! After making a quick trip to Lowes, we all just hung out in the backyard enjoying the weather while daddy put his new shop fan together. No need for it just yet but this is Texas after all so that heat is coming!! Daddy tried to teach Bryce how to effectively use his dump truck to gather dirt, push it over to the trees, and dump it. Bryce found that picking the dirt up and throwing it was just as effective. Or he'd place the dirt in the dump truck then carry this heavy thing over to the trees and tip the truck upside down. Whatever works, right? Brycie also had fun playing with daddy's tape measure and would go around measuring different things...8, 6, 10-teen. Such a handy little dude.
Little miss must be growing because she was doing a whole lot of this...
Oh, and because Bryce knows how to unlock door and recently went tearing out the front door after his daddy, we installed one of these bad boys...
We also bought one for the rents because of the pool. Bryce has no fear and we know that he would be the one to walk straight in the middle of the road or dive head first into the pool without even blinking. So...we try to take preventative measures but something tells me that all of the child locks in the world will not contain this kiddo and we will most likely be very familiar with the ER staff. Praying always for a hedge of protection around my bouncing boy and that his guardian angels are equipped with helmets and knee pads - they're gonna need 'em!
