...which means so is the pollen. Yuck! My car as the yellowish hue and I can't quit sneezing. Buuuuut, I'll still take this mess to have more days like today. It was BEAUTIFUL outside again today and we did what we could to enjoy it. Somewhat. I say that because first we went to restore where our instructor really worked hard to kill us and then went and grabbed lunch with a friend. Chipolte, in fact which means a lot of beans and spiciness. And THEN went running. Silly girls. We went to run along The Waterway which is just beautiful. Although today was a little tough, smelling everyone's food when I was already near barfing. We started out good and I found my stride rather quick considering I was pushing the double and weaving in and out of "traffic" but then at the turnaround point, I almost lost it. I felt that little turn in my stomach followed by a few dry heaves. I tried to push through it and focus on something else but just then we were passing a Landry's Seafood and bam! It came up. I'm so glad I didn't puke right then and there. So where did it go...hmm, let's not talk about that. So after I walked a bit and tried to get my stomach to settle down, I started out again with a slower jog and we finally finished. As I told my friend already, next time we go, let's hold the beans and rice until AFTER the run. Seriously.
When daddy got home this evening, he had a few hunny-do's on his list. The kids playground has seen better days and the tarp is now completely gone. So I went online to order a replacement and noticed a few cool playground additions that I thought I'd surprise the kids with. Problem is that our playground wasn't really made for "additions" and it took a lot of handiwork from daddy to get certain pieces to work. But we got them up. Well, everything but the tarp so far because neither of us were in the mood to tackle that beast tonight. The kids seem to be happy about it and now we just need to show them how the game tic-tac-toe works. Looking forward to tomorrow because it's supposed to be another gorgeous day and we're picnicking in the park with friends. No running this time so no worries of losing the cookies. Nighty-night.
