Day 65: Cold, cold, go AWAY!!

So since Bryce was still having snot, and I was certain in was in his ears, we made another trip to the doctor today and sure enough- DOUBLE ear infections! This is getting to be ridiculous. I hate that my poor baby boy is in so much pain all of the time. While we were there I mentioned to the doctor that I believe he got this cold from his sister and she seems to finally be getting over it. I should've really found something to knock on because it wasn't but 2 hours later that the school called, saying that Skylar was in the nurses office complaining of ear pain. I should've known better because she was such an emotional basket case this morning and I couldn't do anything right no matter how hard I tried. She asked for twirly puppy-ears (aka - curly pigtails) and she got it. She asked to wear one of her bracelets she's had since she was a baby and I let her. She didn't want to wear white tights but blue tights - you got it, sister. But no matter what I did - she cried. And now I know why. We were able to sneak a quick pic in there between moods though and each time I look at them, it makes me want to cry. She's growing way too fast.

So after I got the call, raced to get her from school so we could make it to the doctor on time, we pulled in the parking lot with 5 minutes to spare. Phew. And she's also got double ear infections as well. It stinks. So this has been a very snotty and emotional household lately. Wanna come over? Seriously though, there are times that I feel I am on the brink of an emotional breakdown and today was one of those days. We did find out that Bryce is now only one pound shy of catching his sister so it's only a matter of time now. Till tomorrow...
