Day 104: Garage Clean-Out Project: Check!

My goal for cleaning out the garage was to be totally done by Sunday and I did it!! I guess I should say "we" since I did solicit my husbands help in hanging a lot of the heavy items. And now that it's completely done, I really wish I would've taken a better 'before' pic to really show off the difference because it's HUGE! Anyway - here it is!!!

ah! So much better! Everything has labels and a little home and more importantly, there's so much more floor space!!!! Still left on the agenda is to get our "emergency preparedness station" put together and then we should be good to go. I really wanted to pressure wash it and then use garage paint on the floors to help make cleanup easier but this will work. I was already pushing my luck when I kept saying "oh daddy...one more thing" about 20 times. So now that this is done, I definitely have an itch to keep going. Next up - the kitchen.

 

I can't start yet, however until I have all of my organization stuff ready to go. I've purchased lazy susans for the cabinets and still need to go and get shelf racks, command hooks, and some more storage containers. And because I'm just in a gutting and cleaning stage, I went ahead and purchased new dinnerware and mixing bowls too! Something tells me my husband is about to pull the plug on all of my "organizing projects." Stay tuned for the kitchen makeover and this time I WILL snap photos so prepare yourself - cause it's ugly!
