Day 107: Run for Boston 4/17

Today was a great day. Today thousands of people throughout the county gathered together to show that we will not be broken. We will not be moved. We will press on. Today was "Run for Boston 4/17." A lot of us mama's gathered today with our joggers and ran. We ran for each victim affected in Boston. We ran to show that there's still light amidst darkness. And we ran because we can! So proud to be part of such an amazing group of woman.
It was such a humid and windy day but we did it and I'm so proud of us!! After we all finished and snapped a quick pic, we decided to let the kids play a bit. I'm thinking that my Brycie is growing because all he wants to do is eat and sleep. He ate an entire PB&J, a large fruit container of blueberries and strawberries, a handful of pretzels, 1/2 of my sandwich, and drank 3/4 of my green machine smoothie. Once he was finally done feasting, all he wanted to do was rest and hang out with me and baby "eebah."
They're also sporting their blue and yellow for today! He's such a stinker and I'm anxious to see what all this eating and sleeping does because he kind of plateaued for a while. Stay tuned for more pics as I'm sure he's about to hit a big growth spurt!

Eva also enjoyed the day and had a chance to catch up with her girlfriend, Ella. I love that they're so close in age so we can watch them grow together.
It was another great day and my heart goes out to everyone in Boston and beyond. I hope that today serves as notice to terrorists that you will NOT divide us. In fact, when tragedy strikes - Americans run TO the scene and aid those in need. Proud to be a runner. Proud to be American.
