As mentioned in an earlier post, I decided that Skylar needed to be back in her five point car seat rather then an upright booster and even though my husband gave me a hard time, he still helped make it possible. And I know deep down, he feels better about it too. Better safe then sorry, right. Well now that I have them all crammed in there, it's a bit scary. I love having them so close but now I hear every argument in surround sound whereas before they were so far back I could kinda tune them out. Poor Eva - she's stuck right next to Bryce! But like I said - better safe then sorry. So here they are - 3 babe in a row!
You may notice that Skylar's hair looks a bit silly but that's kind of the idea. Today was "Hilarious Hair" day at school. At first she wasn't too sure about this and kept whining that she wanted me to take it down. When her daddy asked "Skylar, what's wrong?" She said "I don't want everyone laughing at me, daddy." How young it starts. I assured her that other people would have silly hair too and that I'd come in to Chapel to see when she went on stage. That made her feel better. Once she saw other people with some interesting hair styles, she was much better and kept her hair like this for the remainder of the day.
After I was free to go, little miss and I got ready to run and then restore (our normal Tuesday ritual). However, apparently rotavirus is going around so I decided to keep exposure at a minimum. So instead we went for a little jog and she's really beginning to like her new stroller...and no more car seat since she sits so well in here:
Most times she will snooze-cruise but today she was just talking and singing her little heart out. After our run, daddy invited us to lunch but with the gazillion things I still had left to do at home, we rescheduled for Thursday. I picked Bryce up a little early today so we could go get a "gair-cut" because he needed it. That boys hair just grows and grows. Daddy is pretty jealous since he just keeps loosing and loosing. Poor daddy. When I got to Brycen's classroom, we did our usual run to each other, give big hugs and kisses and he say "wet's go!" He left his cup in his room and so I told him to tell his friends bye and get his cup. He went running back in, grabbed his cup and yelled out "bye prinz." And he continued to yell out until they acknowledged him and said bye back. Love that dude. Once I had the kiddos, daddy asked that we meet him at Best Buy because he was switching our cell phone providers. This was something we've been wanting to do for a while so it was nice to hear that he was finally ready. The kids had fun running up and down the aisles and then getting to search for a movie. Skylar picked Hello Kitty and Bryce picked Horton Hears a Who. We have that book and just love it! "A person's a person, no matter how small." Hear that you pro-abortion activists?! Gotta love Dr Suess! I digress. Soooooo....back to the kids. They had fun and then it was time to go - much to Daddy's relief!
We did get our phones and they're very pretty but one tee-tiny little problem. We only have 1 signal bar at home! hahahahahaha! Our main reason for switching was for awesome coverage and we have ONE bar. Hoping it doesn't cause any issues since Matthew's phone is used for work. We shall see.
