So some may call my blogging method "cheating" since I did say I would write a post a day for 365 days and what I've done a lot is combine two days into one or play catch-up a lot; but the way I see it - a post is a post and I'm doing it. But man! It's hard work. Sometimes the hardest challenge is finding new material or what am I going to name this post? It become quite cumbersome but I'm trucking along. Or as Dory from Finding Nemo would say "Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. What do we do, we swim, swim, swim!" Speaking of which!! They're making another Nemo movie only this one is called "Finding Dory." It will not be in theatres until November 2014 and normally that would have be bummed but since little Eva girl will be 2 by then, it's a mommy/daughter date already in the works!!!
Thursday:
Today was pretty uneventful with the same old stuff..run, restore, make a few errands. Nothing fancy. I did get to use my single stroller today though and it was so nice! A little wobbly since there's not much weight inside but I'll get the hang of it. We also went to Target to get birthday presents for the party we're going to tomorrow, all the parties we missed the past couple of weeks, and the party we are going to on Sunday. Party, party, party. I picked the kids up from school and they were both complaining of how hungry they were and Bryce kept saying "mama, I want a bur-burger (cheeseburger)." I called daddy who said "let's meet at Red Robin's." Anything for his boy. Since we had time to burn and they were still SOOOO HUNGRY, I ran by smoothie king for a healthy (and filling) snack. This was the first time either of them have had smoothie king and they loved it! Bryce REALLY loved it...
We had a nice time at dinner even though the food was just okay. I don't know why people rave about that place but what-ev's! After dinner, we came home, had baths, brushed teeth, and off to bed for everyone.
Friday:
I started this day determined to get all of our laundry done. Its the worst it's ever been since getting back from our trip and I have to fix that! Problem was, the birthday party started at 10:30, I have 3 kids to get dressed and fed, and then try and get myself dressed - plus wrap the presents and sign the cards! Mayhem. I managed to get 1 load done. And not really even done. Just switched from the washer to the dryer which means restarting both again tomorrow. Sigh. Tomorrow is another day. The kids had so much fun at Charley's birthday party and everything looked so cute. His mama went with a plane theme and had the cutest names for the food, snacks, and goodie bags. It was precious! When we arrived though, Skylar made a face and looked at me. I asked her what was wrong and she said "ugh. This is a baby party!" I explained that Charley is only 2 so this is one of Bubba's friends. She sighed and said "am I gonna haff to babysit?!" Love that girl. After spending a couple of hours, running and playing hard - it was time to say our goodbye's. Bryce continued to sing "happy birfday chaw-wee" in the car for about 10 minutes before becoming awfully quiet. He was ouuuuut. I was extremely nervous that I wouldn't be able to get him to his bed without waking him and that's exactly what happened. He cried for about 15 minutes before finally falling back asleep. Skylar was easy-peasy to get down since I told her if she napped she gets to go spend the night with Nana and Papa. Lights out. While they napped, Eva and I played and made silly faces...
I love this girl so much! She's growing so fast and I think fully sitting is right around the corner.
Please slow down, sweet girl.... mama needs her baby for a while longer.
